Collaboratively written during virtual Map Your Streets workshop
Home is where you go at the end.
A long day, a party, a trip to see a friend.
Home is where you regroup,
it’s where you have memories
Home is where you make excuses for doing work.
Where you can snuggle under a blanket.
Home is this but also it’s the place where you have fun.
Home is where you party late, past the sinking sun.
Home is where family is.
Home is why you come together.
Home is where you go when you don’t know what to do.
Home is what you think about when you’re stressed out.
Home is how you keep yourself calm.
Home is how to be yourself,
How you play in the house,
it’s how you dance alone.
Home is when you feel safe and great.
Home is where you become a whiz
Home is all about who you are.
Home is what your life is.
